Storyline:
Gas is a baseball scout. The team works for the thought that it should be withdrawn. He asks them to do him another scouting job to prove it. His friend, Pete asks Guss estranged daughter, Miki, if she could go with him to make sure hes okay because his eyes are failing. Doctor says he should get Gasa eye heals, but he insists on doing his scouting mission that takes him to North Carolina. Mickey decides to put their work on hold to go with him, and she wants to explain why she was pushed. Although there runs into Johnny, scout from another team who was a promising player Gas one watched. Johnny and Mickey are interested in each other.
