Storyline:
After the murder of her father by hired hand Tom Chaney, putting 14-year-old farm girl Mattie Ross out to capture the killer. To help, she hires the toughest U.S. set she can find, a man with True Grit, Reuben J. Rooster Cogburn. Mattie insists on following Cogburn, like drinking, sloth, and generally reprobate character do not increase their faith in him. Against his wishes, she him in his journey to the United Nations India in search of Chaney. They are joined by Texas Ranger LaBoeuf, who wants Chaney for his own purposes. Trio can find danger and surprises on the way, and each has or her grit tested.
